My name is Jill Batye.  I am from a tiny town called Dutzow.  I attended Warrenton High School in Warrenton, Missouri.  After high school I continued my education and basketball career at William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri.  I graduated from WWU in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education.

I spent my first three years in education at South Callaway.  My first year there I was a Library/Media Aide and then I taught second grade for two years.  I also coached the JV girl's basketball team.  After South Callaway, I taught third grade for two years at Callaway Hills in the Jefferson City Public Schools District.  I am very excited that my career has led me to Southern Boone Elementary and I couldn't be happier!  This will be my fourth year in the district.

I have an amazing family!  My husband's name is Kip and he is the Branch Director at the Southern Boone Area YMCA.  He is an Ashland Alum.  We have two boys.  Evan will be four in October and Jaxon will be two in December.  Finally, we have a dachshund named Yadi.

*I am the career leading scorer for girl's basketball at my high school. (1,519)

*I scored over 1,000 points in college and our team went to the NAIA National Tournament three years in a row.

*I love cookies!

*We are huge Chiefs, Cardinals, and of course SoBoCo Eagles fans!

*I grew up on a farm so I love riding four wheelers and fishing.
